November 17, 2007

I noticed there has been no one signing our guest book. I thought that was a little odd so I check it out and my guest book no longer works. I'm working on a new one, so as soon as it is running, please sign it. Leave us a message. Let us know if you enjoy the things you find here. Tell us how you've been. Tell us how God has blessed you. Share your prayer requests with us. We would love to be praying right along with you.

Have a blessed day!!!!!

Psalm 96:1 says to sing a new song to the Lord. This is what we have tried to do with this CD. The Gospel never changes, but God allows us to always have a fresh new way of singing about it.

 gold.gif

October 27, 2007

Well, our CD is here!!!! As soon as we figure out how to get it on the website it will be on our music page.

Remember, everything works according to God's timing and His timing, not ours, is always the right time.

October 13, 2007

My, how time flies!!! It's time to get rolling again. We got word that our CD is at DiscMakers right now now. Woohoo!! Hopefully within a couple of weeks it will be here. If you keep up with this, thanks for your prayers.

August 11, 2007

I'm not sure if there is anyone out there reading these, but I'm back! I talked with our producers and they said we are getting close. I'll try to be a little more prompt about about updating our site.

Satan really doesn't want this project to go through, so we would really appreciate your prayers.

Thanks for visting our site!

As Christians, we may be the only chance some people have to meet Jesus.

It may not be what we say that reaches someone for Jesus; it may be the way we act.

If you are a Christian, there is someone watching you. The things we do and say just may be the one thing that brings someone to the salvation of Jesus Christ.

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.”

Luke 6:45

Does this mean we can listen to someone and determine if they are good or evil?  Apparently so!

It’s time to rise up and take a stand

It’s time to rise up, shout across this land

It’s time to rise up, come on lift your hands

Rise up! Rise up!

This is the chorus to one of our songs. If there was ever a time in history that the true believers in Jesus Christ need to rise up, it is now! Men that believed in God founded our nation. But, God has been pushed to the side. He’s even been pushed to the side of some of our money. How long will it be before He is removed completely?

It’s time to rise up!!!!!

We live in a time that is like no other. We live in a time that people, saved and unsaved, have an “anything goes” attitude. It is hard to distinguish who’s who.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”  Romans 12:2

Sounds like I’m preaching, doesn’t it?

Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character." Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame. 1 Corinthians 15:33

Guess we need to watch who we’re running with !!!!

Here’s a challenge for you. Read chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation. What kind of church are you in?

There’s no better time to read it than now!  Click here

Have you ever had trouble just knowing what to do in situations that come up in your life?

Try this:

“Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.”  Proverbs 3:6

gold.gif

May 30, 2007

I read this on Air 1 today.

“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.”        2 Peter 1:3

Notice the bold type? I guess that rules out all the excuses we use for not living a godly life!!

Well, I'm back!

My dad went home to be with Jesus last Saturday. We had a really great celebration. We didn't lose him. We know exactly where he is.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.  1 Thess. 4:14

May 9, 2007

Sorry I haven't updated in a few days. My dad is in the hospital in Okla. so I've been out of town. He is improving, but I would appreciate your prayers.

I'm not sure if anyone is reading this page, but if you are, sign our guest book.

Have a blessed day!!!

We're headed to church. How about you?

Don't forsake the gathering together of the saints!

1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; 5 for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.   1 Timothy 4:1-5

Do you think this is where we are today????

A question for you;

When Jesus went into the houses of sinners and ate with them, did He have to sin with them to fit in?

There is a misconception about reaching the lost today. Many think we have to do the things they are doing, say the things they are saying and act the way they are acting to gain their trust. Now we have both sides sinning. So who’s gonna save who?

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.  1 Corinthians 13:11

Good advice!!!

For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.”

1 Corinthians 14:2

Pretty cool, huh? And I used to not believe this part of God’s Word!

April 26, 2007

For those of you who were praying for our friend Eric, we have good news. Doctors removed a small tumor on his pituitary gland in the brain. They found no cancer. Hallelujah!!! Continue to lift him and his family in prayer.

Also, Jason, our son, continues to improve daily. God is good!!!

gold.gif

April 25, 2007

Happy Birthday, Melanie!!!

gold.gif

April 18, 2007

I want to thank everyone that has been praying for our son Jason. His eye is improving daily and he is seeing more and more. The doctor said the color will come back to his eye. The nerves are working and the blood vessels are back.

The doctor doesn't really understand it, but that's the way miracles work.    Praise God!

I'm going to a men's retreat for a few days, so I'll update this page when I get back home.

Have a blessed weekend!!!

Talked with Clay and Melissa, our producers in New York today and they are excited about what the CD is going to sound like. We are really getting excited about hearing it.

By-the -way, if you want a good lesson in patience, go record a CD!!!

Thanks Clay and Melissa!  We love you guys!

April 16, 2007

I heard this on the radio today.

If we are not concerned about others salvation, then maybe we should be concerned about our own.

That will get you thinking!!

"And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it."  Matt. 16:18

Are you going to church today?

April 14, 2007

And Peter remembered the word of Jesus who had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” So he went out and wept bitterly.
Matt. 26:75

How many times daily do we act like we don't know Jesus? Would not this be the same as denying Him?

Makes you think, doesn't it????

April 13, 2007

Special prayer requests.

Our son, Jason, got chemicals in one of his eyes on Wednesday and needs our prayers. We know God has healed him. Now we want the doctor to see what a miracle is.

Also our close friend, Eric, needs our prayers. Again, we know God is healing him, too, but we need his doctor to see how big God is.

Have a blessed day!!!

"With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."  Matt. 19:26

The Bible teaches us to pray for those in authority over us. Does that mean our boss, too?

gold.gif

April 9, 2007

The Bible teaches us that we can have those things that we speak. This wouldn't be the time to have negative speech!

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Matt. 28:6

Tomorrow is the greatest day for me as a Christian!

Will it be a great day for you, too?

What's that in your hand? Open it up. What do you see? Oh! It's your future!

God has given us the right to use what our future will be.

Choose wisely!

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."  John 3:16

What more is  there to say????

March 29, 2007

"This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it."

We need to remember that!!!!

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.    Phil. 4:6 NLT

Sometimes we fall into a rut by worrying about everything that happens in our life. There will be times that things happen that are out of our control. Instead of focusing on the problem, we need to focus on the solution. God, being all powerful, has a solution for any problem that could possibly come up. So the solution for us is to pray about the situation and thank God for what He is going to show you to do.

“Ask and you will receive…….”

“Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks”   1 Cor. 15:33

Have you ever said anything that you wish you could take back? If you are human then this has probably happened to you. If the same things are coming out of our mouth again and again, then we don’t have a mouth problem, we have a heart problem. Those things that are harbored in our heart are who we really are. Did you ever run into someone that no matter the circumstance, love and kindness was all that came out of their mouth. If we let Jesus truely rule in our heart, He will rule in our tongue.

"...to obey is better than sacrifice...."  l Samuel 15:22

I've heard this part of this verse almost all of my life, but really didn't know what it meant. I've also heard people tell me to count my blessings daily. It took several years, but I finally came to the realization that if I want to have blessings to count, then I have to obey God. That is the one sure way to be blessed. So many times people feel like they are not being blessed when the root cause is God's not being obeyed.

Have a blessed day!

March 25, 2007

"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4

This is one of my favorite verses in the Bible. This is one verse that many times is remembered by the last part of the verse. We all have desires and we would like to obtain them. But, the secret here is the first part of the verse. First, we need to delight ourselves in the Lord. That means that in all we do He should be there. God should get glory for all that we are and all that we accomplish. If there are things that you want then first, delight yourself in the Lord.

 gold.gif

 March 24, 2007

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

This is a verse that carries a lot of weight when we are in those times in our lives that we just don't know what to do. There are two keys to this verse that are vital for it to work in our life. First, we need to love God. So many times the only time God is mentioned is when there is a crisis we need out of. God wants more of our time than that. Second, we need to understand His purpose. If we understand what He wants us to do and we are doing it, then we can depend on this verse when situations come up in our life that are difficult to deal with.

 gold.gif

March 23, 2007

Everyone has a legacy. The type legacy we leave behind when we leave this world to spend eternity with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is entirely up to us. A legacy is something that has to be built daily. Our walk with God, the Father is so important to what our legacy will become. We shouldn't live for the praises of men, but when I leave this world, I would like for people to say, "He was a good Christian man!"

My entire family are born again Christians. I had the privilege of baptizing my wife, our two sons and four of our grandsons. This is the kind of legacy I want to leave here. When I meet Jesus face to face I want to hear, "Well done my good and faithful servant."

Start building yourself a legacy that makes Jesus smile!
